Jaruco summons in to the Children's Contest of Painting and Drawing "Conserving Our Biodiversity"

Jaruco, Mayabeque. The CITMA delegation in Jaruco, and the International Project Improving the Prevention, Control and Management of Invasive Alien Species in Vulnerable Ecosystems in Cuba, convene the National Contest of Painting and Drawing "Conserving Our Biodiversity".


Alejandro Peláez Osorio, specialist of the entity in the territory, reported that the contest is aimed at children between 9 and 11 years of age, and may participate in Painting and Drawing with free style.


He said that the works will be related to the control of invasive alien species taking into account the themes and activities for the conservation and protection of Cuban flora and fauna, and work of invasive alien species, as well as conservation and protection actions of Cuban landscapes and uses and benefits of invasive alien species.


Each work will be presented in the First National Contest of Painting and Drawing "Conserving Our Biodiversity" must be accompanied by the following data: Name and surnames of the author. Age, sex, name and address of the school, degree, home address and telephone, municipality and province.


The admission period is until May 20 and will be delivered to the CITMA Municipal Delegation on Avenida 26 number 1801, between 18 and 22, Jaruco.
