National Route of Urban, Suburban and Family Agriculture in Jaruco

Jaruco, Mayabeque. This Wednesday began in Jaruco the National Route of Urban, Suburban and Family Agriculture, in order to evaluate this program in the territory at the end of 2016 and done in the first two months of this year.

 

On the first day of the tour, specialists in the cultivation of vegetables and medicinal plants of that program visited the gardens of the primary school Raúl Hernández, Day Care Rayitos de Sol, in this city, the farm of small livestock in the Agricultural Production Cooperative Cuba-Cambodia in San Antonio de Río Blanco, and the semi-protected cultivation area of Crucero Aurora in Caraballo.

 

On its second day of visit to Jaruco, this Thursday, the National Group of Urban, Suburban and Family Agriculture will assess the contribution of this program to the prioritized centers, the operation of the juicer, and share with the pioneers that make up the circle of interest in Urban Agriculture, who will offer visitors the traditional children's expo-fair.

 

As a closing of the tour by Jaruco of the National Group of Urban, Suburban and Family Agriculture, on March 9, a specialized conference on the operation and control of this scheme will be held at the headquarters of the National Association of Small Farmers of the territory.
