Jaruco, Mayabeque. New maximum prices will show to customers the sales tables and menus of the cafeterias and restaurants of Jaruco starting next Monday, August 5th.
This is what happened on Thursday morning at a meeting of the representatives of the Municipal Administration Council (CAM) and the business owners of food stores.

During the meeting, the 66 self-employed workers received the price lists of soft drinks, mineral water, natural juices, malts, beers, nectars, compotes, and in the case of processed food such as pizzas and spaghetti in their different variants.

The five vendors of pig meat licensed to carry out the activity in Jaruco were also informed of the new regulations, who as of August must sell the pound of meat at a price that does not exceed 40 pesos (CUP).

The municipal government authorities announced that this August 2 will hold a similar exchange with self-employed workers in the transport sector, who will know the maximum prices set for the transfer of passengers from Jaruco to other municipalities of Mayabeque.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Head of the Municipal Administration Council, Aymée Piñero Páez, explained that when the new regulations are put into effect, consumers can demand their rights and report any violation.
To do so, they can call the telephone number 47 87 47 88 of the Office of Attention to the Population in the CAM of Jaruco.

Piñero Páez highlighted the words of the Vice Minister of Finance and Prices, Lourdes Rodríguez Ruiz, on Wednesday when in the television space Mesa Redonda stated that “the recent regulations on the prices of high demand products and services are not arbitrary, but respond to studies on their behavior in previous months and territorial conditions ”.
