Jaruco, Mayabeque. A training seminar was held on May 21 in Jaruco, in view of the application of the two new legal housing regulations approved by the Council of Ministers, which were published in the official gazette on April 26 last.

How to proceed quickly, but with organization, respect and adherence to the law to order and legalize more than a hundred homes in the municipality, was the topic that focused the analysis.

In the meeting, the specificities contemplated in the 8574 agreement related to the ordering and legalization of housing, rooms, accessories and premises, and the 8574 on the change of use of premises were shared.

They also proposed ways to assume the scale of the procedures that are coming, without losing sight of the quality in a local scenario marked by the insufficient amount of adequate human and material resources.

Yamila Capote Rodríguez, director of Municipal Physical Planning, stressed the importance of integrating the work of this directorate with that of Housing and the Administration Council, main actors of the process that will begin in the first week of June.

The directive said as of that moment, a period of six years will be available to complete the legalization in the Housing sector, always adjusted to the strict compliance with the territorial and urban regulations.

The new regulations will also benefit more than 80 families who live in real estate as permanent tenants and will allow the transfer of eleven local state properties, to another fifteen.
