Jaruco, Mayabeque. In Jaruco some thirty teachers will return to educational institutions, motivated by the wage increment announced on June 27 by President Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez.
At the end of the current academic period, of the 25 teachers who requested dismissal from the sector, 19 have already decided to join the classrooms in September, said Mayret Barroso Cruz, director of Education at Jaruco.
She added that 12 teachers who worked in other sectors will also return to the schools, as a sign of the reception that the new measure approved by the Council of Ministers has had among educators.
Undoubtedly, emphasized the Director of Education of Jaruco, it is an encouragement to retirees in the sector, many of whom also express their interest in retaking the teaching profession.
