Constitution of the Labor Justice Bodies, democratic process in Cuba

For the Education sector, the Constitutions Assemblies of the Labor Justice Bodies will begin in Jaruco, the first instance of claim for disciplinary measures and the rights of workers in each labor group.Gladis Carriera Medina, General Secretary of the Central of Workers of Cuba in the municipality, informed that the beginning of the process will take place between September 2 and October 30 and that 34 bodies will be constituted and each one will be composed of seven or nine people.

In Jaruco, the Labor Justice Bodies will represent more than 5,600 workers affiliated with the union sections and will be responsible for investigating the correct application of administrative measures, taking into account the workers’ claims.
