Educational sector of Jaruco apply measures in the before fuel shortage

Jaruco, Mayabeque. Keeping all the educational institutions of Jaruco open despite the difficulties facing the country with the supply of diesel, is today the number one priority of the territory.

Mayret Barroso Cruz, director of Municipal Education, said that the entry and exit times of the centers were adjusted to the itineraries of state buses and other private sector vehicles in charge of public transportation.

The idea is to favor the orderly transfer of students of Pre-University, Polytechnic and Secondary who reside outside the municipal seat, and therefore must travel daily.

The directive meant that as part of the temporary measures, starting this week the eleven students of Jaruco who study at the Pedro Albizu Campo Pedagogical Institute located in Güines will begin a period of teaching practice in the centers of the municipality.

She added, that also, and on a provisional basis, were relocated in the Urban Preuniversity Institute (IPU) Captain San Luis since September 16, 37 students of the municipality that constitute enrollment of the Pre university of Exact Sciences (IPVC), located in Melena del Sur.

Barroso Cruz stressed that, so far, the centers have the material and living resources to guarantee the cooking of food and the quality of the educational process.

She stressed that as of Tuesday, normal activities will be resumed at the special school Camilo Cienfuegos of Jaruco, including the transport guarantee for students and workers.
